SAS Ai Board member Andring Ladi received an email message from the SASAA organization. The subject? Updates on their planned activities.
Andring Ladi is a man of a few words. He wrote back to the SASAA organization and told them this:
"Thank you for updating me on SASAA agenda. With all due respect to you, I had closed (severed) my connections with SASAA right after the Grand Reunion in Las Vegas held in 2007. On the last day of that event, we, Tagudinians of Northern California (TagNorCal) felt that the voting for officers had already been done and over with even before we had a chance to present our very own candidate to represent our Northern California organization's interests.
Since then, we of TagNorCal have only heard and have received only second-hand information of any agendas by SASAA. This is most unsatisfactory. We are not second class citizens. We are Tagudinians just the same. I am not the only one in Northern California who feels this way. Even now that I no longer hold the helm of the Northern California Tagudinians, I hear a lot of dissatisfaction stemming from the fact that our group TagNorCal is not being represented within the circles of SASAA. Back in 2007 I was told that a designated person was supposed to take care of the Northern California Tagudinians' interests. This person was not and never has been active in the Tagudinians of Northern California affairs and agendas.
I want to be frank with you. Most of the officers of the Northern California Tagudinians up to this day have no interest whatsoever in being a part of SASAA because our TagNorCal organization is not adequately represented. I for one would like to be officially out of SASAA, if ever I was considered a member.
I am part of SAS Ai now and will continue to support its noble goals of helping the bright but financially deficient students. As our founder and Secretary said, 'We are not competing with you. We are our own organization, intent on helping our bright but deprived youths.'
SASAA could do the same to aid other needy children to continue their education. In so doing both organizations are winners and for a noble cause."
