First we have a thoughtful answer from a man. He says, "I'll pay off my mortgage, give some money to charity and set up trust funds for my children's future."
Next we have a woman who says, "I'll pay off my debts, set up savings accounts for my kids, do some traveling and go shopping."
Still an older person gave this answer: "I'll make sure that I leave the money to an executor who will see to it that it is put to good use."
Another person asked a question instead of answering it outright, "How much money are we talking about here? To some a million dollars is peanuts while to some other folk a hundred dollars is reason to celebrate!"
Which answer comes closest to your answer? The one thing that seems to be a common theme is the getting out of debt part. Debt is a necessary element of our economic system but it can also be a heavy burden. Specially if one is unemployed - how can one possibly meet the monthly payment schedules? But if we don't borrow from others, how can investors make any money with and from their money?
Then we have a glimmer of hope at the mention of charity. Being generous to others who are more needy than we are has not gone out of style. Supporting charitable causes is most virtuous specially if we believe in the cause. Setting something for our kids is still pretty much practiced. The same thing our parents did for us when we were growing up.
Isn't life grand. We think of winning the LOTTO someday. On our way to WalMart or the shopping mall we dream of getting our hands on some cash - someday soon. It's a nice dream. It is also a heavy burden once we are saddled with it.
